Opportunities don’t happen — we create them.

We live in an age that demands we stay on our toes. We have to be proactive, adaptive, and ready to chart newer directions. Supply chains remain the backbone of every organisation, yet today they must deliver far more: cost efficiency, innovation, risk resilience, and a genuine commitment to sustainability.

ASCP is where professionals dive in, take active hold of the challenges, and swim through with conviction. Through our historic MoU with Japan Association for Logistics and Transport (JALoT), signed in Tokyo in July 2026 as their first overseas partnership, we have opened a meaningful bridge for knowledge exchange, DX, and sustainable practices, and introducing new business opportunities between India and Japan.

Drawing from the conversations we began at JALoT at their Tokyo headquarters in May on India’s growth story, logistics progress, and the strategic opportunity for Japanese firms, and looking ahead, the next defining areas of work in India will certainly centre on digital transformation and AI-driven operations, semiconductor supply chains supporting India’s emerging fabs, EV and cold-chain ecosystems, and circular-economy models that make sustainability operationally viable.

As India’s pioneering association of supply chain professionals, ASCP offers members direct access to peers, best practices, and emerging opportunities that are reshaping global logistics.

I invite you to step forward, participate meaningfully, and help shape the conversations that will define the next chapter of our profession.

Opportunities don’t happen, we create them. As we all are aware, with the inconceivably vast and demanding times challenging all our senses to be on toes, we live in an age of proactive actions, relentless battles and adaptability. Individuals and corporates alike have to actively seek to experience opportunities that are more likely to explore newer directions and find alternative paths to success. And for a good reason, organisations want to strengthen their supply chain which acts like its backbone. We are thriving in a fast paced zipped up age where operational excellence is preceded by so-many factors like cost efficiency, innovation, risk mitigation, resource optimization and so-forth.

ASCP is a catalyst for this enigma. It is where you dive into, get active hold to your malady, to reach out to the best of the industry and swim through with conviction. It has now become imperative to be sensitive towards environmental sustainability, get involved in diversion and inclusion efforts and community engagements that we can walk through economic viability thus contributing towards increased brand reputation and enhanced relationships with stakeholders who value sustainability.

ASCP is the first association of supply chain professionals in India and its members gain unprecedented access to the people and exchange best practices changing the way the world moves. With an impressive line of members of our esteemed association, I invite you to be a part of this momentous journey to uncover newer opportunities and participate meaningfully in its activities that can add value to the endeavour of your professional lives.
